S.O.S. Pledge is a unique artwork that is based in a concept, a mission, a promise that carries it message and virtue formless across all medium and platform that suit the budget, aesthetic, size and location of it's custodian and proudly display in a public area. It had been reborn as a marble mural in a school, a plywood board in a community garden, a handkerchief for portability and even as a temporary tattoo.

S.O.S. Pledge at Ecotone Community Garden, Houston, Texas

Ecotone Community Garden adopted S.O.S. Pledge to engage it audience.

Super Duper Milestone for ECOTONE 2012!

Graduating Senior Nursing Students of the Texas Women's University discovered St. Charles Street Urban Community Garden in their site research while compiling an Official Community Health Assessment of Third Ward. Not only did they name the garden in their 55 Page Report (with photos of the garden), but they also put this shot on the cover of their Third Ward Health Services Brochure distributed throughout the area! Yeaah ECOTONE!!!

Awesome! The "S.O.S. Pledge" (Sustainable Organic Stewards) has become an interactive education piece in our garden and I continue to salute its creator, Mr. Tattfoo Tan. The message carries the vibration of a very creative artist whom I respect greatly and could think of no better salute than to put his pledge in our garden! Everyone gets it Tattfoo! - Chef Tarsha
